Another user, dank24 said you mentioned more than once that:
I understand the 3000 mile part, as the worst oil on the shelf could handle that, but the Synthetic blend is news. Fess up. Pretty sure he was talking about the initial fill that gets loaded with Moly from the skirts.
I tested my 1st fill and it did not look like a partial.
I can post the Blackstone report.
Another user, dank24 said you mentioned more than once that:
the honda oil is a synthetic blend that lasts much longer than 3000 miles
I tested my 1st fill and it did not look like a partial.

He's asking whether or not honda oil is a blend, aka not just dino oil. I've read around this forum that it's a synthetic blend of some sort, but as with the OP I'd like to hear some verification regarding that.
I just said it has been covered many times about the original factory motor oil. Anyway, a simple PM could have done good asking Chris.
Guess I got your panties in a bunch. Oh, damn. I know it hurts, but suck it up. I guess trying to be the "brain" and trying to disprove people out in the open is your thing.

About the first engine oil change:
" Why should I wait to change the oil the first time?
* Your Honda engine was delivered with an oil that is specially formulated for new engines that have not yet developed their "natural" wear patterns and may contain minute particles from the manufacturing process.
* American Honda strongly recommends this special oil be left in the engine long enough for these wear patterns to develop, usually until the first maintenance interval specified in your Owner's Manual, based on your specific driving conditions."
(got it from my AHM Honda Owner Link, under Maintenance FAQ. http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/)
About Break-in period, yes they are in the Manual Book, please re-read again...
've just rechecked the Manual, it's on page 136

If you need to take my note to this level to feel better about yourself have fun. Glad to help you along your way.
Thanks for the input Chris.
BTW That's pretty much what I thought this would end with.
As too the miles.
Lots of opinions on here for sure, but only one other Fit owner has tested the Oil and posted the results and capability.
Ohhh and think how unfair it would be to hide this in a PM.
As a Form user, it's Easy to just skip over a note you could care less about as opposed to flag it as needing a PM.
