Performance mods that increase HP and MPG??

What are some mods you can add to the Fit that will increase horsepower and fuel efficiency, but not void the warranty?

hmmm not voiding warranty..i know AEM intakes are always carb legal. Most other intakes should be too but they dont have the sticker to go along with it. My exhaust increased my FE alittle bit on the highway.

I think if you could find this answer to this you would make millions.

Seriously, those are typically not terms that are associated with each other. If you want to make significant horsepower, you are not likely to increase fuel efficiency. And with any in-depth mod, it is most certain to void a factory warranty.

IMO, I would not waste time spending $100+ on an intake. A K&N drop-in replacement is cheaper, (probably) more efficient and it certainly does not void the warranty.

Before you start spending money decide what you really want out of the car. If you think you truly want to make a good amount of power, save your pennies and buy a Kraftwerks SC kit. It seems that from those who have gone that route have been most pleased. And if you keep your right foot out of it you are not sacrificing a lot of your fuel economy.

increased performance = increased fuel consumption, the fuel is already burning as efficiently as it can.. intakes and exhausts allow more air, and more air = more fuel needed
