Fit Build Date

Does any one know if there is a notification (sticker, badge, etc.) telling when a Fit's build from the factory was finally completed or if there is a website that tells us the same info? Any help would be appreciated.

yeah there is a date of final completion for our cars. its on the driver door jam on the sticker with the VIN number on it.

my car was done just a month before i bought it.

does any one know what the production numbers were for the USDM Fits, like how many were made, when the end of production was for the 2008 model? i've just been curious

Ah, the sticker on the very bottom of the jam. Thanks a lot, it turns out my Fit was built in Oct. of '07.

As for the total production, I'm sure it'll have a total number added to a site like wikipedia. The entire color, trans, and other base/sport numbers will be unknown till someone finds the build sheets from Honda.

Haha most of the peeps that had Fits pre-ordered and posted on here when this place first came to be are gone. I mean, even admins aren't here!

According to this my Jazz is:
Manufacturer, Make and Type of Vehicle: JHM= HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.
Line, Body and Engine Type: GD1= Jazz/L13A1, L13A2, L13A5 Fit/L13A1, L13A3, L13A4
Body Type and Transmission Type: 8= 4-door Hatchback/CVT
Vehicle Grade (Series): 5= V, 1.4LS, 1.3LX, 1.3LX-L, 1.5VTI, 1.4SE, 14LS
Model year: 7= 2007
Factory Code: S= Suzuka Factory in Japan
And is number 201668 from that factory.

And on the factory slip that came with the car (some writen in Japanese): it says it was produced on 6/11-2006, and probably car number 2 in the line that day or on line number 2.

Does that imply that my car was number 201.668 from that factory, or is that the number of GD1 CVT 1.4LS in 2007? Is it another number for MT or is they mixed. Does the number start at zero again each year?

And to clarify: my car is a Jazz delivered to Norway in Europe. Bought by me in February 2007.
