07-08 Trade in quotes
#2
My dealer gave me $11k on trade-in for my '07 MT Sport on an '09 MT Sport.
That's probably on the low side, but my car had been in a pretty bad wreck ($8500 claim w/frame damage). They were the ones that sold me the '07, and were also the dealer that performed the repairs.
I was pretty ok with the offer, as Kelly Blue Book has an '07 MT Sport in "Good" condition listed for $11k.

were you expecting to get what you paid for it? or was it just WAAY to much lower?
i almost traded my fit in a couple weekends ago for an 09 lx-s civic in white.
my fit was worth(and i verified it) 12900 per kbb(and probably a bit lower according to NADA values.). i had 34k on it (at that time) and had owned it for a year an 2 months.
the dealer was going to give me 14500 for it which was awesome, but no where near enough to take care of my negative equity. hopefully in another year it will balance itself out.
