Spoilers delete option on the Sport?

The more I look at the "fast and furious/teenager in heat" spoilers on the Sport edition the more I am convinced that I cannot buy this car, and the base model without cruise and remote locking is a no go as well.

Here is my suggestion, simply have a "spoilers delete" option with a slight drop in the price. Surely a company as innovative as Honda can do this, no?

Own any tools?

Just remove it yourself. It isn't rocket science.
It's just an additional 'attached' plastic appendage/molding
Not an integrated part of the structure or body frame.

It frankly wouldn't even take that long.
(easier than changing your own oil).

I'm planning on replacing both bumpers and removing the
hatch spoiler.

If you really are 'mechanically challenged,' just
ask the dealership to remove it for you as
part of the sale. It won't take them more than
15 minutes to do it.

Don't hold your breath for a 'spoiler discount.'
It might even cost you a little more for the 'simple'
removal of the spoiler (cost of the so-called 'labor'
involved). Just sell it on e-bay. Somebody with
the base package will purchase it *guaranteed.*

Oh I think I could figure out how to trun a few screws and clean off a little double stick tape, but I don't want to pay for the privilage.

Trust me. It won't last 1 day on ebay.

Or you can get a base model and take it to a shop to put in aftermarket cruise and an alarm w/keyless entry (and remote start while you're at it) and save yourself a few $$ in the end.

Or just go buy something else.
