I've seen an illustration that shows, with the rear seats folded down, that the Fit has 1720mm (67.75") of cargo space. Looking at photo's, it doesn't look to be that long.

Will a box 30"x30"x58" really fit in the back of a Fit?

This is my first post. My local dealer (mid MO) tells me that he has no information at all concerning the Fit and didn't want to pre-order!

If you look under STUFF, LONG MODE, you’ll see a surf board, and a mention of 2400mm or 94.5”. I’d say about 1/3 or less of the surf board is passed the driver’s seat. If so, there’s 63” of room, or more behind the front seats. No idea of the positioning of the drivers seat (through the seat rail movement).

After seeing one in person, that 30”x30”58” box might fit in the Fit.
