how to put the extended wheel stud on a fit
A search helps.
Youll need a slide hammer and air tools.
Its a lot harder than you think. The front hub needs to be taken apart as its pressed together. Remove the caliper, caliper braket, rotor, axle nut, all that.
Before you put it all back together youll need to re-pack the wheel bearings. Air tools come in now. To press the hub together an impact gun will need to be used on the axle shaft threads. Not 100% sure if this will work. This is the only way I can think of doing it at home?
Rears are easier, yet still require a lot of parts to be removed first.

that is a good idea ray but i think you will strip the threads if you try the air gun method cause that hub is pressed on really good. i have not tried this but i looked into it and it looks nearly impossible without a press. correct me if im wrong though.

Havent done it on a honda, but I have done it on 3 Nissans.
Not going against Ray or Kyler, they may know better.
I just turned the hub until the back of a stud was by the access hole in the splash shield.
Used a 1" X 10" long aluminum rod and a sledge hammer and pounded it out, now maybe the 100MM bolt circle wont allow that. If you can look from the back and see the stud head, that would give you a clue. Only disassembly was removing caliper and disc or drum
I'd go to Helm and pay the $10 for a 3 day online pass to all the service manuals

I love Google, found this in 2 minutes
It's 4 civic and 100MM bolt pattern, this ought to be very close to what you need to do.
