Congratulations on getting yours tomorrow!

Could you describe the blue?

I love the Vivid Blue color in the pictures, but I can't tell if it is really garish for a car. I can't afford a ticket magnet.

I picked Storm Silver MTSport, but I could have Vivid Blue MT Sport in another month. Problem is that the SSilver will be here way before the Blue one.

Has Honda ever sold Vivd Blue Pearl in the states?

Thanks...

Ummmm... I'll be getting my Vivid Blue Sport Auto (VBSA) when they first release them in the US. It's already been built, and is on its way 'cross the water, then the country. So, the idea that no VBSA's are being built until an expected June arrival isn't correct. My guess would be that the dealership you're working with just didn't order any VBSA's, and if they were to include it in their next order, it wouldn't arrive until June.

Fellow Virginian, greetings again. I put a deposit on a SSilver build date 3/15 and the only 'VBSM' coming has a build date of 4/21 in the dealer's first order.

If I could see one in the flesh, I'd know!
Keep us posted.

And it wasn't even raining in Van, that's an extra bonus! LOL

I still like the front profile of the Fit better than the Jazz, doesn't
look like a hairlip.

Will have to see where to re-locate that fr. lic. plate, though.
And I see there is lots of room in the wheel well.

Changes and I haven't even seen one, until later today.

Congratulations! Now I know exactly what my car is going to look like. I'm excited to see the interior is more gray than black. I was worried the black would be hot in summer, but if I got Lunar Mist with tan interior it would get dirty easier. My dealer has a silver on the way, so that made up my mind.

I believe what you were seeing was the gray interior that's available in Canada, only. They don't have the beige option. Both countries have the black interiors, though. I would have MUCH rather had the gray then beige, and possibly preferred it over the black. <sigh>

Thanks for posting the pics and congrats once again. I still think you are paying too much for it, but then again it's not like the cars are easily available and all. Not too mention all the "hidden" fees you discover when you decide to make a deal.

Gezz people, Honda won't give them away. Of course new cars get pricey with all the BS fees they add on. But Honda knows they will move them at the sticker price, especially for the first few months.

This car sure looks great in its base form - just add aluminum wheels, cruise and remote locks and it would be perfect for my needs!

Congrats HollyBee!

HollyBee,

We need some daytime interior shots! Especially of the Magic Seats in use! Have a lot of people been staring or asking questions? When my cousin bought his XB, he couldn't GO ANYWHERE without fielding questions.

Sorry Jesus - it was actually just close to sunset when i took the pics so i guess it was making things look a little dark. And ure right about showing off the magic seats..cuz they are pretty darn cool...guess i will have to do some more photography after work again today. I havent noticed too many looks yet...but maybe its because i live on a quiet street with almost no traffic where i park it at home, and at work i park in a enclosed company lot. And when im driving im concentrating on the road and not other drivers faces!! but im sure when i go out crusiing this weekend there might be some lookie loos.

And yes the interior is the dark grey interior which is only available in Canada (all LX and DX models). The black interior is on all Sports..and it was really nice too. The beige that the US is getting..not so much.

HollyBee,

Girls don't usually follow cars all the way up until their release... Hell, most guys I know aren't even aware of what a FIT is. It's very cool! If you don't mind me asking...

What made you become aware of the FIT?

Why do you like the FIT?

How long have you been following the FIT?

And post more pics of yourself, please.

Well it was really just good timing more than anything. I started looking to buy a new car over a month ago (cuz i was taking the bus before!) and i initially was interested in the Toyota Yaris. I then went over to Honda to compare with the Civic. Once i found out that the payments for the Civic I wanted were more than I could afford the dealer said he had the solution for me and brought me the initial promo brochure for the Fit. I knew right away that this was the car for me! I did a little more research on the Jazz then I put down my $500 deposit and by some lucky stroke i was the only one at Carter Honda who wanted the Silver LX in automatic and it was their 2nd car to come in! and thats how i ended up being one of the first owners!

reasons why i like the Fit...its cute! (kinda reminds me of the playful style of the VW bug) and it was good on gas (for my long commutes), and it seemed like a good starter car for a young person, and it was affordable...but a big reason was because it was a Honda and i knew it would be good quality then and i wouldnt have a lot to worry about.
