I have my Fit!!

Sooo im the new proud owner of a brand new Fit LX in silver! I spent 3 1/2 hrs at the dealership signing papers and drove away with my brand new Fit last night! I thought I was just going in to test drive my car and wouldnt be able to take it off the lot till April 3rd but apparently they got their leasing and financing rates yesterday so I was able to do all the paper work last night and drive it off the lot! I am sooo excited! I drove it into work today and I'm really happy with it and Im sure to get lots of looks considering im probably one of the first owners in Vancouver..if not BC or Canada. If anyone has any questions let me know!

Yeah, pics. I saw the Fit about an hour ago. OMG what a great car. Love the Magic seats. This car will sell. It's like a mini-minvan, less the uglyness.

I will be sure to post some pics when I get home from work today. I dont even want to be at work, Id rather be out driving my new car around! I did the Future Value Financing option with just my $500 deposit down...my monthly payments are going be about $364 a month (thats a secured loan) and I will have over $7000 to pay out at the end of 5 years. The car was $22,485 with taxes and all shipping fees.

Thumbs up

Don't forget to include yourself in the driver's seat, you may be the first confirmed owner in N.A., maybe make the local papers, too. LOL

Just want to thank this site and all the posters for all the info and
I feel much more informed and confident about buying this car.

Wow, now that is pricey given it's obviously like a lease and is for 60 months...

- What is the interest rate at? 6.95%?
- I take it you obviously added accessories to the car also?

Looks like if you buy it after 5 years (and don't refinance) you will have paid $30,000+ for it.

Congrats on getting it, and let's see some pics of your new baby.

I just put a deposit down on a Blue Fit Sport automatic. But the lady I'm working with at the dealership said that I won't get it until the first week of June. She said that they are only making certain colors right now and the blue won't be available until later on. The only car that I could get right away would be a black one. But I would never drive a black car. The heat in the summer would be unbearable. Ah well - I have to sell my old car anyway, and this will give me some time to do that. I will be so jealous of all the Fit owners driving their cars around while I'm still waiting. All I know is if I see a blue sport on the road, I'll go ballistic.

I assume this is the regular auto with no paddles. How is the acceleration? Does the regular auto also have the sport "S" mode? How is the power for passing. A little more driving impressions would be good . Thanks
