I'm considering buying a Fit for couple reasons you listed...
-It's cheap, great gas mileage (things in my life have changed financially)
-Might be a good car for AutoX

Honda should see this poll and give us more of what people are buying it for.

i choose A, but one of the biggest reasons for me is the amount of space. if i want to take my bike up somewhere to ride in my current car (96 accord) i have very little space, but in the back of the fit, i could probably fit two bikes! the gas mileage is good (although a bit less than the civic) and with the prices a civic wouldn't be too much more, but all of that extra space is so awesome that i think i'm going to have to go with the fit.

Why I bought a Fit?

1. I wanted a good, cheap, and reliable car.
2. I wanted all the options. Power everything, ABS, side curtain air bags, A/C (can you believe there are still base packages w/o it? In Texas?!?) ...
3. I wanted a car from a reliable brand.
4. I didn't want a Ford or Chevy. Period.
5. I wanted a fuel sipper.
6. I wanted a cute, fun car.
7. I wanted to be able to carry lots of stuff when I needed to.
8. My current car was on its last legs. Repair after repair after repair. I was done repairing and ready to put that money towards a monthly payment.
9. I wanted Magic Seats.

I was hedging between a bunch of hatchbacks. Honda Fit was the one that initially dazzled me. And when I started looking hard at info on the Fit, Yaris, Versa, xA, xB, Rio5, Accent, Forenza, Rabbit, and Caliber, it became quite clear that Fit was the one that could deliver everything at probably the best price.

I am thinking of the Rabbit, as well, but everytime I would get into it, I would wish I would have gotten the GTI instead.

Same for me
Dependability reason #1
I wanted a hatchback...
A four door is perfect..
The seats are great.
I hope for good mpg.
