Fuel Shut-off

Is fuel shut-off at the injectors only in 5th (manual) gear on GD's or does it do it in all gears when just coasting. I cruise down a hill where it is more convenient to use 4rth than 5th and I was just curious.

it should be in every gear if you let off the gas at anything above around 1100rpm.
