Actually the way the ads pop up are by reading your recent visited pages and recommend you similiar products to what youve searched for

But seriously ive never gotten any ads non automotive related. If im in a thread about HID's or something I see ads for HID plug and play kits and what not.

There was a posting of an ad for ***.com too.. I haven't seen them but someone posted a screen shot of it. It started happening when FF was sold to a larger company.

everybody is in the business of making money, i would have done the same if i owned a high-traffic website as well.

 

If theyre in visitor messages... report them.
Any kind of spam needs to be reported so it can be removed. If its a sponsored ad, just ignore.

I have ADDBLOCK from Firefox. I dont see any adds anymore.

 

Adblock Plus . . . I don't know how anyone can stand the internet without it.
