When trying to figure out insurance costs, this may help: I got a ball park figure with the basic info on the Fit Sport AT. I had not been carrying collision insurance because my Accord was so old. The estimate was $137 more per 6 mo. premium than I was paying just for liability coverage. When the agent plugged in the VIN for my vehicle, it actually came out lower -- only $117/6 mo. over what I'd been paying. My old Accord doesn't have the Fit's safety features, so even though I added collision coverage, my guess is that I'm saving on liability. When I actually get my updated insurance information, I'll line item the old/new policy and find out where the charges differ.
