I think that for "refresh" mode, you have to:
Step 1- fold the rear seats up
Step 2- bring the front seats fully forward
Step 3- remove the front seat headrest
Step 4- fully recline the front seat back cushions
Step 5- bring down the rear seat cushions
That should do it. I know it might seem a little fussy at first, but I'm sure that most Fit owners will be able to master these steps and perform the whole operation in well under a minute!
However, I did notice that on a Sport model that I was checking out at my local dealership, I had to use the little lever on the top backside of the driver's seat so that I could push it forward. This meant that the seat was not in a locked position, as it went past the last "catch" of the seat rail. Once I was able to lower the rear seat cushion while simultaneously keeping the forward pressure on the driver's seat, I let go the leaver and walked forward and pressed backward on the driver's seat cushion. I heard a click and therefore knew that the seat was locked into position. Curiously, the passenger side seat did not display this idiosyncracy.
