Question Test drive and?

I also test drove a sport today, very peppy for what its mission in life is and "relatively" quiet. I did not get the impression from either dealer I spoke with today that that will be adding onto the MSRP, but one had added quite a few "dealer installed Honda options".

It also looks like it will be easy to remove the funky cladding - a few screws and double stick tape for the lower stuff, but it looks like the wing removal will leave a few bolts/holes to deal with. Anyone done this yet?

Wing removal, why would you do that?

Don't like the style - a little to "in heat" for me! Need a sport to get the cruise control, remote locks, upgraded stereo, etc - hope to sell the cladding on ebay - or better yet to see honda come up with a "delete option".

You wanna pay the Honda dealer to take that stuff off for you? Cause in delete option cases there gonna charge you a certain price to take that stuff off for you. If you really dont like it that much your better off doing what you said, take it off yourself and sell it on ebay, at least you can make some money on it rather then paying money for Honda to do it.

There's even a chance that the dealer might not give you money for the parts taken off, atleast the dealer i work for ( i run the day shift for parts) would not do this, though i understand some might, we'd never do somthing like that since we did not put it on the car, which would cause the parts depart. to loose money that they never made in teh first place.

What color are you thinking of getting? I only like the spoiler part of the kit and will be getting a base model so if it works out maybe I'll take that part off your hands (I live in the Bay Area too).

Why not just buy a base then if you dont like the wing? I mean unless you are purchasing it for the Cruise Control...

Thats exactly why he wants the sport, just doesn't like the kit.

I am in the same boat. Want cruise, but not the "look at me" parts. Hopefully aftermarket cruise won't be a problem. If looks like swapping steering wheels and adding some wiring etc will work as well.

It may be a while as I do not need another car right away and will hold off for the price to soften - when I do buy it will be the Red
