Something I've Noticed About Driving the Fit
I've had my Fit for about a week and a half now and love every minute of it. What I've noticed is that the Fit has amazingly made it cool to drive with two hands on the wheel which is about as uncool as it can get
. Maybe it's the paddle shifters, maybe it's the cool steering wheel, I don't know, but for the first time it actually seems more normal to me to have both hands on the wheel. This was NEVER the case in any previous car I have driven. Every other car felt completely unnatural and of course uncool to have both hands on the wheel like a granny lol. With the Fit I find myself driving like I'm in the arcade booth, both hands on the wheel and having the time of my life. Just something I've found uniquely interesting.

yeah, count another in for 2 hands on the wheel. People say the car is slow, i dont know what they are expecting, but i just hit that little paddle on the left twice and VRROOOOOMMMM!! I think some people dont like to hear the engine that loud in the higher RPMS, it freaks them out, but i love actually using emm-never got to do that b4.
Fit FTW!
(BTW if u think fit is slow, Its an $18k car, seriously)

It's the lack of a center console mated with the paddle shifters...
I do have both hands on the wheel a whole lot more these days.
And yes, a click or two on the left paddle yields plenty of fun Mr. Gym Rat
Couldn't agree more...

I feel more comfortable with both hands on the wheel because I have to sit very upright and there is no armrest. Also, the electronic steering is so sensitive I have trouble keeping it straight at any speed with one hand sometimes.
what i've noticed is that it seems that I can feel the car geetting into the next gear (i'm driving an 09 AT) perhaps this is common w/ smaller engines? my older car was a 91 corrola dx, which i believe had more HP
