How old was your fit when you got it?

When was the "pre-delivery inspection" (as listed in your honda service record)?

When was it manufactured? (As I believe is listed on the doorjamb sticker.)

I was personally a bit surprised when I realized how long it was between my purchase of the vehicle, and the pre-delivery inspection. I'm wondering if my experience is typical.

(For the record, it was many many moons, but I don't have my data infront of me.)

 

Usually they do the PDI at the time of sale, at least at the dealership I worked at.

 

I don't have the delivery date, but my 09 MT Sport is a April baby. I bought it in July, if that means anything.....

 

My baby MT Fit was 1 month old (according to manufactured date) when I purchased him. He even had placenta..I mean...plastic still attached when I test drove him!

FYI- Celebrated first birthday on August 12th with 11,100 miles.

 

My PDI was done in March and I bought the end of July. PDI was done by the original dealer. I bought from a different dealer who got it from a dealer trade.

 

My Fit was made in November 2008, the PDI was done in January, and I bought it in July. It had about 50 miles when I got it; I suspect the reason the dealer had it so long is because nobody really wants to spend the big bucks to get the navi.

 

I think the production date was in October 2006 for my car.
And it had run 6km when I got it 2.february 2007

 

I guess I'm one of the exceptions.

My Fit appears as if it was sitting on the dealer lot for a while before being sold. It was manufactured in 10/08. Pre delivery inspection was 12/08. I bought it in 08/08.

Still a good car, but probably not so good it was sitting around so long.

i dont remember but it was less than 3-4miles old when i got in it.

 

Don't know the exact date, but it was built Oct. of '07 and was roughly a month old when I got it on Nov. 28; had 4 miles on it at the dealer, 48 when I got home.

 

Manufactured 2/09, bought 3/16/09 with 9 miles on her.

Buut i went to the dealership in June of 09
drove it outta the shipping docks with only 1mile on it.

 

Mine says build date 4/09, Pre delivery 6/09 (different dealer, mine was a dealer swap), and I took delivery end of July 09. I took delivery w/ 95 miles , it had 22 when i first test drove it and put a deposit on it 1st of July waiting for the cash for clunkers to take effect. The rest of the miles I assume were from the dealer transporting the car to and from the moonroof installation place.
