Crashed ge8

I swerved to avoid a car merging in to me. and then overcorrected back over and did a 180 from the left lane to the right lane and smashed into the guard rail. The driver side airbag deployed and the car is awaiting towing and repair. I'm fine though. In case you were wondering the curtain airbag really works well. Kept my head from smashing through the glass.

going 60 on i-80. yeah she stopped. she swerved and lost control too but managed to regain control. since we didnt touch, there was no fault on her part. i didnt get a scratch on me. insurance is gonna take care of everything.

i'm a bit surprised it spun at 60 were the roads wet? cause i did an "emergency lane change" at a bit over 70 totally stock and the car held it....

It sounds like he spun out because of the over correct, not because he was going sixty.

Luckily you're ok, that sounded really scary. Post pics of it if you can, I want to see how well it held up.

ouch.. truly sorry for the misfortune.

i can't remember the driver that said it but he made a statement saying he was more afraid of driving on public streets than on a race track because of terrible drivers. i work in beverly hills and the volume of soccer moms talking on their cell phones, doing their make-up, fixing their hair, and screaming at their kids in the back seat - WHILE DRIVING - is staggering.. what makes it worse is that they're usually driving a range rover, escalade, or hummer

Yea just got done with 27 hours of highway plowing. .
Anyway, is it totalled? Glad you're safe .. rt 80 is so unsafe. . Pretty much the same thing happened to.my GD. My friend was driving in the rain, someone cut him off, he over corrected, and was like a pinball on the gsp. Not one scratch on him.. good luck, let us know how it turns out.
