Happened to me just this morning as well.. was washing the car and a guy walking past with his dog said its a sharp looking car. Asked about MPG and commented how roomy the inside is hehe.

First stranger to inquire since I got the car back in July of '09.

 

Hell, the only comments I get are "why did you buy that?" or that is a ugly car. But I live around morons so it doesn't bother me none..

 

I get people everytime i go out saying something about my fit. Either something about the interior or just the way thr car looks, a lot of fit owners always say something when they see my car. Ive noticed that other fit owners on the road will always let me in on the freeway or like if i need to get out on the street from a parking lot they will always let me go just be im driving the same car as theirs and bec it looks soooooooooo much cooler than theres. Hahahahahaha i think its funny. But ya i always get people coming up to me about my car. A lot of older people too

"Nice car, but its not gonna survive once it gets into an accident"

"Is that a CF xxxx? Daymn!"

"RS? You have the K20?"

"Is it a hybrid?"

Anyways, comments are nice

 

I've had people walk up and ask me about the car. The most similar comment is "I did not know Honda even made this car". Thanks Honda for not putting on more commercials about this car. I have come out from shopping and found people looking at the car and even driving up next to it, looking and then driving off. The funniest time was when a guy took a picture of my car through his sun roof with his cell phone. Some guy driving a Honda Ridgeline asked if I wanted to trade rides. Some young guys were out driving their Moms car and one kid leaned out the window and yelled Hey I love your car! Then coming out after work to find finger prints on your windows because someone was cupping their eyes while looking at your interior.

I had a 81 VW Diesel Pickup that got a lot more questions than the Fit..... If I wash and wax it, then people notice it, make comments and ask questions.....My son has told his friends about my car and they all tell him I must be nuts.... I think it is because of my age and that my car has a supercharger.

 

ive had it number of times. remember, i grew up in a farm.

 

I've had a few people just say nice car.
I had a brief conversation with a fuel station attendant on the NJ Tpk about it. He was considering getting one and was evidently canvassing Fit drivers at the gas station for their opinions. I doubt he got any unfavorable reviews.

I did have a guy in New Haven, Ct spend a good 10 minutes talking to me. At one point he even "measured" the width of the tires with his cane.

I never had this happen in my Civic.
