iPod connection question

Hi everyone,
I have the new iPod Nano and a Honda Fit 2009 that have worked perfectly together but recently, no sound comes out when I plug in my Nano but the car reads it because the song title comes up on the radio and I can change the tracks, but there's no sound that will come out. Also, the sound radio works fine with regular FM/AM radio and CD's just not the Nano. And the Nano works fine as well, no problems with the car's radio or the iPod. Any suggestions?

This happened to me when my friend plugged in his iphone right after he installed the newest 4.0 beta. We just kept trying over and over until it worked.
But like shegetstodriveit said, try another cable or ipod to see if it's not just your ipod that isnt working.

OR, copy your iTunes library to a USB flash drive, plug it in, and forget about it, freeing up the more valuable iPod for other uses, and taking up less space in the glove compartment.

I like using my iPhone over a flash drive, only for the fact that my iPhone battery drains fast and is in constant need of charge. That said, I haven't had any problems with my iPhone or iPod classic working with the Fit's stereo.

ohhhh i did the same thing, because I run a lot and got tired of taking my ipod out of my car each time i did so. sooooo i just copied each Itune's folder and pasted it right onto my flash drive and it comes out perfecly in the same order as it does from Itunes/Ipod

great tip.

Will the flash drive idea work if the iTunes tracks are all AIFF encoding (as opposed to mP3's)?
Thanks-
Dan
