Well--lighter weight rims can increase acceleration and the general feel of the car.
Sticker tires can increase traction and handling.
In addition--a combo of lighter weight and wider wheels with sticker more high performance tires will make your car accelerate more quickly, take turns faster and more planted and will generally make it perform and feel better.

i took off that center axle nut. because i tought it was associated with holding the tire.... the saturn i was driving before didnt have one lol... so this is where i messed up.. i took it off thinkinng its holding the original honda tire.. because as soon as i unscrew da screws from da tire.. i tryd pulling it.. and it didnt wanna come out.. so i tougght that center is holding the tire lol....

I am not going to laugh at you.... It's not good to try and do anything to your car when buzzed unless it is something you have done before, even then it is a good idea to check everything out before without a buzz before you take off down the road..... Old men know about these things... I am glad it wasn't worse......You really need to get a shop manual, it will pay for itself quickly and the cost is less than the cost of parts or labor charges you will be out from your present situation.

It is odd that a person that doesn't know the difference between a lug nut and a screw would have a 32mm deep well socket and a long enough break over bar or air wrench to remove an axle nut..... I can't buy into this story anymore.

He did say he was high when he did it. He didn't say what he was high ON of course. His more recent posts do seem a lot more lucid than the first couple, thats for sure....

It could well have been of a few substances....There was also the influence of mental and physical fatigue that was mentioned. I have pulled a few doozies myself and still do, just not as often.

I'm going to agree with you other guys that this story seems kind of BS. For the safety of his son though, I hope he really doesn't get high and drive/operate power tools around him.

The Short one as I mentioned earlier.

Would not a hammer and chisel not loosen wheel nuts?

A cutting torch would be a lot quicker and you could light another doobie with the flame... Very convenient.

I agree. Like 2 years ago I was bored at home on a friday night, and I'd had a few beers. I was a bit buzzed and decided to install my fujita cai. It did not go smoothely(I'm assuming GD owners know about the coolant deal). So never again. But in this case, messing with wheels and suspension? No bueno!

Hearing your front wheel bearing going to meet their maker would kill your buzz in a BIG FAT HURRY i imagine.
