I just bought a new Fit (2010) and I want to get roof racks. My research shows me that I can save several hundred dollars buying a used Thule rack system. However I can only find the Thule 400 aero feet. The Thule website says the the Fit needs the 400xt aero or the 480xt aero feet. I am wondering how much it matters. Will the sightly older feet still fit my car with the appropriate fit kit? Or do I have to buy newer feet? Do any of you have experience with this?
