Gauge Overlays
Gauge Overlays
having a problem with seeing the gauges on my 2007 Fit. During the day with sunglasses on, can barely see left side of speedometer ( the 0-50MPH section). Cant' see the tach at all. Found web site whitegauges.com but they only have metric overlays!!!!! Anyone else having this problem or any solutions? Live in Florida and sunglasses are a must when driving during the day. Thanks for any help!
Are you driving with your headlights on? If so, is the dial turned to its brightest? I noticed that I cannot see the gauges during the day unless it's at its brightest. But other than that, I haven't noticed any problem with seeing the gauges.
Sometimes polarized glasses have a strange effect of glass and things like laptop or cell phone screens, but again I haven't experienced that issue in the Fit.

I don't quite understand. On my 2010 the dash guages are lit brighter when the headlights are off, than they are when I turn on the headlights. At first I did not like the guages being "lit" but now I really like it. I've found with the guages being lit during the day...and very bright..that they show up great when I wear sunglasses. It's actually a plus in comparison to my old car inwhich the guages did not default to being lit.
Your's is a 2007 so maybe it's different? But I really like the lit guages on my Fit.

If the lights are off the gauges are lit just like in the new model. I wouldn't say they are brighter than the brightest setting when the lights are on though, it's seems to be exactly the same. But, I was just thinking if he is having issues with seeing the gauges it could be because he drives with his lights on during the day.
