Could someone please check and see if the plastic cover along the inside of the engine compartment is on both sides? I have one on the driver's side, but don't have one on the passenger side. Am I supposed to have 2?

 

Mine too. I noticed the difference when I adjusted my head lights. I haven't looked into it yet.

 

I don't have it either. When I noticed it I dropped by the dealer to check another new one and it didn't have it either. Seems like one should be there, but apparently none of them have one.

I wonder what kind of a PCR prompted that ECN.... sorry, engineering jargon. lol. Looks like a fix to me for something.... who knows. Preventive water splash guard for critcial electrical equipment or NVH fix?

Yes... very odd that there is only one cover when the mounting holes are there on the other side for a corresponding passenger side cover.

 

Must be because of the proximity of the battery to the driver side headlight. Cost cutting prolly.

I think its part of the intake system. Isnt that the side the air filter is on?

 

Intake is on the other side bro..

I dont think they come with the plastic cover..

 

Funny how everyone noticed this when they were adjusting the headlights! That is when I noticed it, too!
