Red face Everyone....The Fit!

Today I saw a fit on the highway for the first time (since its release. I know thats sad.), and damn near cried. It was so fitalicious. I was......fitalized....... I was on the 210 trying to keep up with it so I can see it from the side and i was able to look at it once or twice, but it was just to fit for me to keep up with. Everyone, I must have one. mmmmmhmmmmm

I felt the same way when I saw a white one for the first time on NJ Tpk couple of weeks ago. Haven't seen another one driving on the road.

I still have yet to see anyone else in Orlando FL with a Fit. I took the badging off mine so I don't think anyone would be able to figure out what I'm driving unless they were familiar with the Fit already.

I saw a Fit on the road. I didn't cry though. It was a base. I caught up to it and the driver gave me a weird look. I dont blame him though.

I'm used to buying a "leftover" model when the new ones come out. It's weird to drive the Fit around town and not see others, especially when it's not an expensive car. A guy tried to discourage his wife from asking me about it. She dashed over from their CR-V and he said "Ah, it's one of those hybrids." I was happy to answer her questions. I hope Honda gets busy churning out more Fits. I'll never forget the agony I was in waiting for mine to arrive! (and I didn't have a reliable car to drive for most of that time)

I was exaggerating about the whole crying thing. It wasnt that serious. I was just excited becuase everyone was talking about seeing fits on the road and i had never seen one so it was interesting to see it. The color was white.

You will be assimilated. Put up no fight. Resistance is futile.

I'm so used to waving at (and being waved at by) other Fits, that I automatically waved at one, while driving my pickup truck. Now, the look on HIS face was something that should have been captured on film. It definitely fell under the category of "Why in the (bleep) are you waving at me!?"

My wife calmly stated "Honey, we're in the truck - you can't wave at them, now. They don't understand."

I had the same reaction when I first saw the Fit at the Washington Auto Show. I just knew this was the car for me and had to have one. And now that I've got one, I couldn't be happier. It's like Honda made this car for me. (I know - I'm a little nuts.)

I have the only Fit I have seen in the Cleveland area. Although I know there must be more out there because they were all sold out when I first went to the dealer.
