I never said that the Fit cant use regular. There are benefits from premium.
BP ultimate in the US is Amoco (you linked it above).

Have you got any links for your research? It would help your argument.

edit: my research indicates there is no difference in sulfur content between regular and premium fuel. Importers of fuel are allowed higher sulfur limits (80ppm) than domestic (30ppm). link

Historically much higher sulfur was present in gasoline, but not after the new regulations took effect. This chart from 1996 (see page 14) shows levels in excess of 500ppm. At that time regular gasoline had more sulfur, but not today.

What's this got to do with phase separation?
