window tint

any suggestions on best tint for diy-?

Agreed! I got mine done for 160 and it looks amazing. I would have done a far crappier job since i dont tint for a living and DIY kits with the precut crap are 100. why not spend a little more and get it done right.

Tints FTW

do it right the first time around... run to a nearest reputed tint shop

yeah it cost me $160 to tint my windows including the windshield strip, and it's warrantied for as long as i own the car!

I have to agree about taking the car to a shop and let do the professional do their job.

tinting is like an art

it takes a lot of skill to do a nice job

I tried it - it looks marginal - doesn't look like a professional job. I did one window 3 times. I finally learned you have to taake to door panels off to get a good job. Still working on hatch window. 2 rolls of Gila film from Advance - total cost $30.
