Car feels stronger?

That's exactly how it feels for me as i pile up the miles but can't say for sure. Anyone else feels the same way and can back me up on this?

My Fit's bone stock.

i would agree taht it ceratainly feels stronger, but taht's only casue now you can press it a little harder then when you first got it, but i agree it feels nice, but it needs more power, i say about a extra 40-50 would be perfect for hp.

This is true since your motor is breaking in and starting to produce the proper power band it is suppose to be making...

not entirely true, if this car actually put out to the wheels about 14o-150 hp, then that would be perfect, atleast for me, and i'm not talking SAE ratings, i mean to the ground on a dyno.

Doug, it's more apparent on the Fit than other cars i've own. You think it's because every little change can be felt since it doesn't have much to start with?

I have to agree... Did an other 350 KM today (mix of highway
and S tipe mountain roads) and yes, the car seem stronger...
Also, the sound of the motor changed a bit since new, more round...

I think that anything done to a 109 HP car like the Fit to get
more power will be felt. I can actualy feel a difference from stock
sport wheels to Gram Lights and Proxes tires... Next try will be
the intake... I know about Fujita but I'm not shure... I will wait
for AEM or HKS...

as for intake, i'm thinking either Injen or mugen special intake once they are available.

I'm so jealous! I ordered mine last week (VBP Sport A/t) and the more time i spend on this forum the more impatient i get. I hope Injen puts out a Short Ram intake soon. I have one on My honda E (that's Element) and it sound awesome and i noticed a definate difference in throttle response. I like the AJ's exhaust i think the blue tip would look sweet on the VBP. Definately some Denso IK20 iridium plugs as well. I put them in my E; what a defference!

Enjoy your Fit's. Can't wait to post some pics.
