I am going to ask a dumb question at the risk of being called retarded.

Did the noise sound a bit like liquid sloshing when you go over bumps? or definitely a spring sound?

no sloshing. standard squeaky suspension.

i'm familiar with the sloshing fuel sound.

I hear an odd squeak every now and then when going over bumps or dips. I've got Tein lowering springs though, are you on stock springs?

it's possible that your strut is blown. check for leaks.

another area might be a swaybar bushing.

I have a GD3 and had a squeak in the back...it turned out to be the Progress sway bar bolts rubbing on the Mugen springs. I replaced the sway bar bolts with flush (flat head) bolts and squeak went away.

I've noticed the same thing. I think it's actually the latch on the fold-down seat in the back. Try putting the seats down in the back and see if that changes it.

i'm using a TEIN S-Tech lowering spring.. and yes, i heard a squeaks from the front suspension sometimes.. after i look out for that, the cause is that the spring rubbing each other, so it makes a squeaks sound.. i've covered my front spring with a cheap garden water hose.. (i use a hose that has no steel or nylon strip in it) and now there's no squeaks sound any more..

i hope this helpfull.. this idea came from my friend who compete in my national touring championship ^^

Note : this method can be used to for OEM springs..
