It is that time of the year. Can some wise guru advise me if I can file tax deduction for my 2011 Fit car sales tax (California) that I bought in Dec. 2010? I am getting so many different advise on that and thought maybe someone on here can point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance.

 

if I remember correctly, the only year you could use your car or a new car for a tax deduction was 2009, when the cash for clunkers deal was still in effect.
