At this point who knows what the effect will be on Honda.

Their site has the following:

Earthquake Impact on Honda Operations - Honda.com

I'm a little concerned not only about the Honda factories but also
their supplier factories.

Once the current supply of parts and new Fits is exhausted there
may be a period with no supply unless production ramps up soon.

I can see the dealers taking advantage of the situation to not cut
any deals on new Fit sales... MSRP or no Fit due to limited supply.

In any case, the situation for the people in Japan is horrid at the
moment and I wish them the best during these troubled times but
at the same time if production does not startup soon this does not
bode well for those who were considering purchasing a Fit this
summer... me included in that list.

Japan has always held a special place in my heart because both my sister and I had Japanese pen pals when we were younger. I can not imagine having to live through such an ordeal and how they must be struggling. Praying that people will come into the area and aid in supplying their needs and getting their lives put back together.

My prayers go out to everyone in Japan. I have been glued to the TV watching the news on the nuclear reactors. Lets all pray for the best!

No worries, all minor stuff, looking at the big picture.

Just Toyota and Subaru for now. From the news wire:
Subaru, Toyota curb output at N. American plants

May the Hands Of God be upon the Japanese people. What this country has been through in the last 5 days is terrifying and sad. Prayers is what we can all do and make a difference.
