New possible owner here
First of all... that's a sweet S2000. I'm generally not a fan of red cars that aren't Ferraris or something, but yours looks really sharp. Nicely modified as well, as it's a perfect drop. On my way to the office, I saw a yellow S2000 with a horrible drop with those badly cambered wheels (whatever that stupid trend is called)... made me want to puke. Yours is at the other end of the spectrum.
I currently have an Evo IX SE, and around this time last year, I was considering getting a Fit Sport as a DD as I had just paid off my Evo a year early. A girl in my office ended up getting one, and she let me drive it a few times. It's very practical, but for me personally, it didn't make too much sense, especially since I didn't need all that utility (or at least more utility than what I already had with my car, i.e. four doors and a good size trunk), plus my commute to work is very short (at the time it was a 7-mile round trip while now it's a 3-mile round trip), so fuel economy wasn't a concern of mine, so I kept my car and still use it as a DD, though of course I don't put too many miles on it and sometimes even walk/jog/bike to work.
With a wedding coming up, it might not be a smart idea to have the payments for either an STI or an Evo. If you need a lot of utility, then the STI wagon is a sweet deal, but the Evo is generally regarded as the better performing car between the two while being a whole lot more fun to drive. I can attest to this, as I've driven a lot of the various models throughout the years, and so can a lot of my friends who drive STIs. And if you plan on hitting higher hp numbers, it'll be easier (meaning less money to get there, fewer parts and greater reliability in the process) to do in an Evo.
Good luck with everything.

Well the whole STI or Evo idea is for later on down the road. But I dont wanna have either of those AND an s2000 so i figured while its worth something sell it before it gets more miles/years and then next thing you know its like 10k. But yeah imma finance the Fit for 2 years and then after that see what my options are and go from there. That way i have the Fit as the beater and the new car as my toy.
Does anyone know this guys specs? I really like the way it sits. I figured theres gotta e a guy on here like on other forums that just knows it all. lol. Hopefully. I PM'd the owner but no response yet, maybe hes not on here often.
looks like the 2012 doesnt have mugen options yet. And here i thought that the 2011 was the same but i see minor changes in the front end. Dang. Wonder if Mugen will make stuff for it if not then imma go on the hunt for a new 2011

If you were just going to do two years, that works out since Honda is offering 0.9% APR for up to 36 months on new Fits... which is damn near free. Even with $0 down, at that APR, you'd only pay $250-300 in interest over three years, and $170-200 in interest over two years. Throw a down payment on top of that and it's even less. But if you needed more cash in your account for your wedding, then pocket the money from the S2000 and don't put any money down since the 0.9% APR is basically pennies and you get to keep the money for whatever you need to pay for in the immediate future without needing to get a loan for that amount, which would definitely be at a much greater interest rate.
Don't worry too much about getting rid of your S2000. It's a fun car (I've driven quite a few, though the most recent was an AP2 a couple of years ago), but it's not that hard to replace it, plus there are a lot of other cars that you can get in its place.
i'm sure the 2012s will have mugen accessories in the next few months so you'll be fine getting that instead of a 2011. it'll have more sound deadening that will alleviate one of the pre-facelift GEs complaints.
yeah i've heard a lot of complaints about that. But i figured it cant be worse than a convertible with an exhaust. lol. I hear EVERYTHING in my car. lol. I asked someone from honda earlier today if the mugen mods will be available which im sure they will be but only time will tell. Mugen does have a 2012 Fit but the front is ugly so i really hope that its not that one.
Anyone know how much the Sport's sideskirts go for? I noticed that they gotta come off if i got the mugen ones and there is no sense of keeping them stashed away.
I decided on getting a 2011 FIT btw. I talked to a parts manager at 2 honda dealerships and they all said the same thing to me, "Mugen does not have plans for the grill and front spoiler yet"

According to the official Honda website it's 0.9% for 24-36 months, or it's 1.9% for 37-60 months. So it depends on how long you want to finance the car for. And it looks like that it's for the 2011.
