So I went to my Honda dealer, recently to get my free oil change and noticed the 2012 Honda Fits' . Immediately I saw that the 2012 honda fit's come with a blackhoused headlight unit. I went inside and asked if it would fit on the 2011 Honda Fits. One of the technicians said that the part sizes and everything were the same , except the last 2 serial numbers/letters. I was wondering if anyone is going to try to order some 2012 headlights to fit on their GE8s.

 

you can always get 2011 fit base headlights, they are black housing

 

Do they fit exactly? and what does it usually cost at the dealer?

 

yes they fit exactly, some members on here with base fits trade their lights with sport owners. i'm not sure what they would charge you to swap them out, it is probably easy enough to do yourself.
