Front wheel lug replacement?

Just went to pull off front wheel and one of the lugs was bound up. Ended up having to break the stud (sheared off in the lug). Doesn't look like a simple replacement. Any instructions on doing it online anywhere?

its not that simple. i had to completely remove the hub and press (i acutally used a large socket and a hammer to knock out the bearing and reinstall it) the bearing out and disassemble the entire thing in order to get enough clearance to remove the old stud.

Crap... I can't even get the factory rotors off yet! Got the impact tool, but it's not budging the lock screws. Drill em out?

Got the rotors off... but now how do you get the hub off to replace the studs?

disconnect everything.
remove the center hub nut
then i used a pulley puller on the center of the axle to slowly pull it off the axle.

You can also grind off just a **tad*** of the side of the spindle and get the new studs in/out on the back side of the hub. I would shave off barely any, try to get the stud out, then shave a little more til the bad stud would just barely slip out the backside. I put my ARP studs in this way, have been driving on them hard for over 25k miles and no issues whatsoever. Just make sure and paint the area that you shaved off. Hope this helps someone else w/ this problem.

FYI you can NOT replace a stud on 2009 or later without removing the hub. Appears to work on 07-08, hub design might be different.
