Now i dont know if i'm in the minority on here but as long as a car is regularly serviced i would generally always rather have the low mileage car.
I think it's more than "regular service" -- which is ambiguous anyway. Someone driving a Fit 5-6000 miles (8-10K km) a year may balk at spending the money on a synthetic oil and filter change twice a year. "I don't drive it that much!" Or they only drove it a couple of miles to the grocery store or to church or wherever. That's not enough time for the car to warm up completely.

Just going by mileage, without context, is dangerous. I would rather buy a Fit that did 25,000 miles a year on a daily 40 mile commute than a Fit that sat most of the time except when it was taken on 5 minute trips because the owner's other cars weren't available. On the other hand, I probably would avoid a Fit that was run by a courier in an urban setting and spend more on a Fit that sat, garaged for 8 months out of the year because it was some snowbird's winter car.
