i still have my dealer plates and frames on. had my license plates 2 weeks ago. guess i'm uber lazy

 

I've found it interesting that here in the Northwest, you never see dealer badges on cars. You can always spot someone who has moved here from out of state/region when they have a dealer badge (or a strange pinstripe job!). Yeah we have lic. plate frames but that's it. I wonder why it has never caught on here?

 

In my region of CA you don't see any stickers

but they put the frames and inserts on which I took off as soon as I got home

Yes, but I dont think they are cool. they are conversation starters since the plate covers are from a dealer 200 miles away.

 

NO - they're tacky, ugly, and I ripped them off!!

Still have the plate frames. Waiting for more Cafe Press options (don't care for "Fit Happens"). I have to credit my dealership for delivering my Fit in clean condition -- the manager does not put any stickers or decals on the vehicles. My salesman said that when the manager bought his first car the dealer put all that junk on it and he swore that if he ever had a car dealership he wouldn't do that to his customers. My Fit Sport did have a dealer plate on the front, which they removed on request.

I actually told the dealership that I refused to drive the car off their lot with the license plate frames on. They don't pay me to advertise and if I paid for those damn things in my car's purchase, I want a rerfund!

The front one was removed immediately but I had to wait until I got home to remover the rear...I didn't catch it at first because there wasn't a plate on it at the time. So, needless to say, it is getting handed to them when it goes it for its first oil change.
