Seats & seat covers,
We're getting pretty close to a winner.

I went to 2nd hand shop for racing seats around here.(20 minute drive :insert smugness icon here: )
@200$ with sliders thrown in, but not the install... ofcourse.

I received my swatches from Coverking today and that Ballistic stuff is really what they say.
The NeoSupreme even squeelled as the screwdriver slipped through it, but the Ballistic is dry-walling and painting my appartment as we speak. I'm fairly sure it's going to be my winner at 212$ + tax + whatever-else to cover both front seats.
- I will just ask that they make them a little slack so I can manage some comfort on the odd 2 hr.s of traffic run.
-- as for the kevlar email reply I'm waiting for, there will be no seat design required with Ballistic.
( Ballistic: Compare cheap yellow raincoat rubber to hip-wader rubber and you're starting to grasp the diffference. )

Over here Ballistic you're lookin' good so far.

addit & edited: I just poked a 1/4" slot in Ballistic with tip of hunting knife, and can not make that rip larger by hand. Very nice.

Regarding the cup holders and stuff sliding around. I used an old black yoga mat and made the cuts for everywhere, dropped them in.

Now if I had a yogo girlfriend from whence I could pilfer a yoga mat, I'd have never gotten out of bed to buy a new FIT.

and I'm just waiting for some good weather to do mine. The stuff is about 1/8" thick yet, if I find said yoga gal before I open the pack...

You could just buy a cheap one at Walmart or a dollar store. I've seen them for $5, cheaper than a yoga girlfriend but not as warm. (we own a yoga studio, lots of left behind mats to choose from)
