Your NEW FIT

The Front is acceptable (if we can change those grills with aftermarket honeycomb design that would be better)...
The Rear (especially the tail light) is way too fuzzy and busy,... not clean looking
and this make it hard to get a clean sporty looks...
now the side view is just UNACCEPTABLE...
the ponton bentley wannabe rear fender is just... ugly...
even E-Class Mercedes get rid of those ponton looks with it's latest facelifted E-Class...
Yap, I think I won't buy this new generation Fit...
hopefully the next next generation due in well 6 to 7 years from today will look good again

I think this car has some potential. I wasn't a fan of the GE at first until I saw one with the Mugen kit on the showroom floor. That's when I fell in love.
I think once some aftermarket parts are available this car might be promising. With the right drop and wheels this could be a nice looking ride.
I'm pretty sure the US bound FITS will have different fascias and of course we won't get an RS model with the 6 speed trans. We never get the good stuff.

I think this may be the sharpest looking fit yet.The new gen Fit looks a lot more aggressive from all angles. Also, let's face it the GD and GE are butt ugly without the sport kit on. The 2014 still looks good, even without the kit.

Some GOOD pics here! I do like the Fit RS a lot... hot!

A couple of comments:
1. The new Fit looks like the current model but with a lot more "surface excitement."
2. Expect the nose and rear bumper design to be different on the US model due to the need to meet NHTSA safety requirements.
3. The US model will likely be powered by a 1.5-liter Earth Dreams Technology I-4 rated at 123 bhp with either CVT (with manual "seven step" gear selection) or six-speed manual.
4. While we will not get the hybrid hatchback, we will get the hybrid drivetrain in a sedan version of the Fit (Fit Aria Hybrid?).

I'll save my final judgments until we see the US version, however...
From what I'm seeing now, the front looks like Iron Man and the rear looks like a Volvo. The side profile isn't too bad, but worse than the GD/GE, especially with the top of the door frame area. The RS looks muuuuch better, but still nothing I'm too excited about.
Rear disk brakes, 6 speed, a little more power, and a way to get rid of that ugly grille and fix the rear end a bit, I'd trade my GE in a heart beat.

Ya looks aren't too pretty but remember the honda engineers care way more about functionality then style which is why I bought this car. I really wanted a sport but it would've defeated my purpose for buying a fit....total cost of ownership over a decade.
