Got a '13 Polished Metal Sport

Well, didn't want to go the new car route but I wasn't seeing anything else that floated my boat. I started off with a '11 Certified that I came to find out had been in a pretty good crash. Honda dealer supposedly didn't know, never got told by the previous owner. The wreck didn't show up on the carfax either, just oil changes, tire rotations, and filter swaps. The dealer came through and gave me the '13 at a pretty good discount plus their gonna have the windows tinted like the '11 had. The '13 is pretty much fresh off the boat, manufacture date of 7/13.
Now, aside from whatever the manual says, any recommendations for break in driving speed, oil changes, etc?

Just started reading the "break in" thread, boy everybody's got a different opinion! I'm gonna stick with slow and easy, now got about 100 miles on it (started with 2) and I'm driving like a bit of a nut job varying the engine revs as much as possible. I'm trying to do it right so if I sell it down the road the new owner doesn't post here what a POS it is and the previous owner musta beat the crap out of the car.

Enjoy it, though in few months the entirely new generation 14 will be on the lot. The dealers around here get rid of the '13th as fast as they can with HUGE discounts.

Take it easy, and understand your car is plenty broken in by the time it rolls 1,000 miles.

You will notice the suspension start to smooth out a bit after a few thousand miles as well. It was quite bouncy at first when I got mine, and before I put lowering springs on it, it was very smooth!

That is a great photo of all those Fits lined up. I do not recall any dealers around me that have mass amounts of Fits. Not that I ever saw. There was once an Acura dealer that the whole lot was filled with RSXs though. Never Fits. Would love to see it.

and normally your fuel mileage will get better at around 5,000 or so.
