I switched to 0w20 mobil1 in mine at about 20K with no change in oil consumption (not much consumed, over 10K) and maybe a slight increase in MPG (not scientific...). Dunno what color the caps were

Why different grades? They should both be happy as clams with 0w20.

The only reason is because the 09 says to use 5w20.
