Removing Warning Sticker
Removing Warning Sticker

somehow small things bug me, and the scary "danger will robinson" sticker on the drivers side visor really bugged me. oooouuhh.
some elbow grease, goo-gone, and some refresh, and voila!
I left the one on the passenger side, since I would hope if someone ever used the fit to transport children in a childs seat, they would be reminded to promptly do so, properly.

it wasnt simply a peel off sticker. I spent about 15 min removing it. but, with some effort, and repeated applications and rubbing with goo-gone, it can be removed. the 3m refresh product is better than armour-all for the black outside pillars and window rubber also.

I bet that warning sticker is much like the tags on matresses and pillows.
They need to be there (by law) when they are sold. After then, they can be removed by the consumer (you). Don't worry about it.

it would be illegal for the original selling dealership to remove warning tags, stickers, labels, before the sale of the vehicle. as 'fray adjacent' mentioned, it would be similar to you removing the tags off of a pillow. not allowed by the seller, but always the first thing I do after I buy one. (does your computer chair still have its "DANGER WILL ROBINSON" sticker? I dare you too look and see.
be a rebel, ... tear it off!
I would think, if someone did buy my car in the future, they would take the time to read the owners manual to see how to attach a childs safety seat, or properly position small children into the back seat, and when and how to use the safety features of the HONDA FIT.
I often do things that are technically "illegal", but I also take responsibility for them. (such as speeding 60mph in a 55 zone).
the original post was simply to show that if that sticker bugs you too, it can be removed using the chemicals shown.
