I like the center piece over the hump and the illuminated kick plates. Does the car have a push start button or still takes a standard key?

I like the illuminated door sills as well. And the seat cover pattern is better than my boring covers. I wish we get the RS model here!

I think all models but the very lowest 13G spec are push button start with smart key etc.

illuminated kick panels was a dealer option.

Seriously, you can't take enough pics for us

Can you give us pics around the cabin and dash area? I'm curious what it's like being behind the wheel. I'll definitely go check one out out of curiosity when they get here in a year or so..

and the red stitching on the seats... same as the 2013??? (I really hope it is)

RS is 1.5 litre DOHC i-vtec makes 132 hp
cars weight is 1050kg

not sure on 0-100 or 1/4 mile times

fuel economy is supposed to be pretty good even though its not a hybrid.
they claim 21.4 km/L which is ~50mpg

"sunset orange II" is only available for the RS grade... its a tribute to the original Civic RS from 1971 (1972? cant remember the exact year) that was the same color

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...px-CivicRS.JPG

will get pics of interior when I get a little more time. The dash was a sore point for the misses as the Hybrid got a really trick dash and the RS (and other gasoline models) look very cheap in comparison.

new fit color line up is here

I was wondering how much was this in Japan domestic market?

Take the GE8 one for reference, at Rakuten is was at least 18,900 yen. But in Australia, the crappy Honda one is around USD80 (9000 yen)

mugen ones were ~19k the honda dealer options were around 20k yen they do have honda badges and patterns etc on them so didnt look cheap either.

same deal with the door visors, mugen ones were about 1-2k cheaper than the honda dealer options.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the new aesthetic changes Honda made with the new Fit, but after seeing these pics, I may be changing my mind!

A few questions though,
How is the cabin noise when cruising on the highway?
What RPM does the engine hang around when at 120 kph? (75 mph in the states)
Are there different color options for the stitching/patterns on the seats? (I would want blue)
What color are the ambient lights?

I have some more questions, but I don't want to bombard you so I'll ask those at a later time haha. Thanks for your time! I hope you're enjoying your new Fit!

^^havent had the chance to take it on the highways here yet but will keep you updated.

*edit: one thing I have noticed just driving around slowly is the car is very quiet but the direct injection system (which must run very high pressure) has very loud injector noise. This is a little annoying as it sounds like a dead lifter with a very loud ticking noise, from a brand new car I really dont like it and I guess I might have to get an induction box to drown it out so I cant hear it any more. I may just be noticing it more cause the rest of the car is so quiet though.

^^there are different trims for each grade but they dont give an option on stitching color. RS type is black fabric with orange stitching.

if you go to this link and scroll down a little it has each different trim available for each grade and you can click on each color and it will bring up a pic of the whole interior and a close up of the seat fabric

RS is only this one

What color are the ambient lights?

Ambient lights are standard white/yellow although there is a bunch of dealer options to fit it with blue led lights all over the place. to do the full interior in blue does look kind of cool but I couldnt justify the price.

here is a link to give you an idea

I appreciate your answers! This helps a lot, especially with the Honda links to the Japanese site (I definitely wouldn't be able to navigate that site without help haha).

2 last questions concerning the sound system and user interface,

1. In your opinion, is there decent/OK bass reproduction with the stock speakers that contributes to a more full sound?
2. Does the iphone integration work well? (Bluetooth or USB)

That's it from me. Thanks!

Not sure you know this, but did honda ever offer those kind of lighting options for the GE? Really like the blue touch. So far I only have the floor lighting and door sill lights like yours. About to add the cup holder ones, but want to know if the GE has the door handle ones as well.

I dont think so, Im not very savvy with what was available for the GE but honda still have their option page up for that model and there is no mention of the LED interior lighting I can find.

*havent really cranked the stereo or checked the phone much with the Fit at all. I have to put in about 12-15 hours a day with my work which doesnt leave much time to play, I spent most of my free time fitting the coil overs and wheels etc.

Will have a play and let you know later

Yeah I'm sold. After seeing that last side shot this car might be in the future for me. We'll see how they look when they get here though. US always gets the garbage version.
