2014 New Fit

Is there a way to disengage the seat belt chime? I have a BIG dog that likes to ride in the passenger seat. Any thoughts?

eBay sells seatbelt buckle alarm stoppers or buckle in the seatbelt before the dog hops in

I used to simply buckle the dog in. Lap belt didn't work so good, but the shoulder belt pretty much stayed around the dog. Some animal lovers say dogs should be buckled in, but try telling that to the dog.

Why can't you just buckle the seat belt and then let the dog hop in?

Yeah, its all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone. I don't know if insurance would cover pet medical expenses if the dog were injured in an accident. Buckle the pup in.

Yes, I know its probably impossible, but all dogs dream of being human anyway. Bring the dream to life. ;p
