Front Mask/Bra?

I just bought a black 2015 used-new EX. I am getting it detailed in mid-July. What in your opinion are the pros and cons of installing a front mask/bra? I did a search and found a number of owners who have them. If there is already a post on the pros/cons, please point me in the direction.
Thanks

It depends on what brand you choose. Suntek and Xpel are a good choice but expensive.

Make sure you get one that fits tight and has a soft lining or you will end up with swirls and tiny scratches underneath as it flops around at higher speeds. Also make sure you remove it periodically to clean not only the car underneath but the bra itself. You don't want any tiny pebbles are other debris accumulating underneath it.

I was considering the black vinyl style.

I bought one of the black vinyl ones. Dealer put it on. I ooooooh'd and awwwwwww'd at how awesome it looked. Took it off a week later when I ran the car through the car wash. It's been sitting in the same box since last August when I took it off. I'll not buy one again.

OP here. I am probably not going to purchase a bra after all. After getting my Fit professionally detailed yesterday, I decided I would just touch-up the "hits" on my front end instead and do it periodically. Thanks.

The nose mask is great for long road trips to prevent the front of your car being sandblasted by road debris. For around town and short trips its not a good idea. Thing is one has to remove the mask AT SOME POINT because yes the paint needs to breath with all the moisture that collects, and the fading of the paint too over time etc
