Power window master switch problem

We have a 2008 Fit , the driver side master power window switch is failing, our Local Honda Dealer will not fix it under a recall, they keep saying there is no recall for this switch, for our fit, now another switch won't work, 2 are dead, and I can smell burning,

I am going to try to replace it myself, does anyone know how to remove this switch, I cannot see any screws?

Thanks J

Your local dealer strikes me as not knowing what they are talking about.

There were two recalls on the door switch -- the first one involved weather-taping the leads going into the plug (which didn't work). The second involved replacing the entire assembly with a different part number. I just did this today and my dealer gave me absolutely no grief about it.

At a minimum they should be able to do a VIN search and verify the recall was(n't) done; that's my thought.

Check your VIN for open recalls (Canada)

Read some bulletin about recall on switch too, double check them.
