Vibration feel on gas pedal at low speed accelerating and decelerating

Hi all,
First timer here, I have a 2007 Honda Fit Sport and it has been great for the past 10 years. I kept up all the maintenance, but every car has it's normal wear and tear.
Just recently, I started to notice sort of ticking/clicking noise under the hood when I accelerate or decelerate (prox. speed 30~40 mph is most noticeable). I can also feel the same rhythmic vibration thru the gas pedal, even without applying pressure on the pedal.
The noise and vibration seem to be much less or completely gone when driving on highway or when the car is slowing down (below 25 mph) to a stop. No noise or vibration during idle, the RPM level is steady.
Has anyone run into similar issue and know what is going on?
Thanks and appreciate any input in advance.

It sounds like you have loose or badly worn engine mounts .
