Help! LED's to fit Map Lights for 2018 sports?
Anyone know what LED to get for map light in a 2018'?
The lights below were recommended but are too long- not allowing the button to click once the cover's reinstalled. They do fit, and you can put the cover back on but the LED protrudes beyond the button so when you depress the cover it's not able to make contact with the button.
Thanks in advance. I've been researching for ages and can't find a thing.

I'm using these. I got the 6K Crystal Whites. They're super bright and work well:

I have a 2015 but I'm pretty sure the map lights are the same in the 2018 as there are other interior parts that are interchangeable between the GK5 models including the 2018.
Yes, they're $10 each. They fit fine, are really bright, and are very high quality. That's why they cost a bit more. They're so bright in fact, that I didn't wind up using the third one I got for my dome as it was too much light. I wound up getting a dimmer LED for the dome.
The brightness depends on the LEDs used in the module. The Precision Premiums use 5730 modules which are brightest available in that form factor. The ones you ordered use 3030's which will be much dimmer.

If you wind up not being happy with the brightness with the ones you ordered, I think the Precisions are worth the cost.
Here's a photo so you can see the size.

thanks so much. Great to finally get some good intel!
I couldn't figure out the unit of measurement for brightness with all these LED's. The initial ones I got for the cargo (which i also now have in the dome light are the ones below (suggested by another member). I can't tell which are brighter, the 3030 I just got or the Jtech's. I'm guessing by what you just said the "3528 SMD" would suggest the Jtech is slightly brighter. It was very hard to tell.
Alas that's all my interior lighting done. Wonder what inexpensive mod I'll do next.
