Confused - Any Help
Hey guys- Always been a Honda Guy. I was recommended from a buddy on HT to post over here as I'm exhausted my options inside my garage and am not much of a dealership diagnostic guy.
2008 Honda Fit Sport AT; I'm second owner since 2011 @ 55k; Has 109k on it now; Typical maintenance and typical coil pack replacement is all I've had to do.
Two nights ago I drove my car home from a bar/restaurant about a quarter mile. Fit ran normal, no lights/dimming issues, no CEL or dash lights, radio worked, etc. Woke up in the AM and the Fit started but wouldn't come out of park. It also would electronically fire up the radio, lights, but the gauge cluster would not work. No fuel bar/tach/speedo or any lights and the little blue electronic trip meter. I forced the car into reverse manually and I noticed the Fit also had no power steering. I drove it around and everything was fine so I figured I'd have my GF follow me and I'd drive it home and take a deeper look. It died about 25 minutes in after I got off the highway. Radio shut off then the battery died so I had it towed. Alternator was testing low and a lot of reading pointed towards the battery too. So I charged the old and the new and replaced the alternator. All the above issues are still existent. Now I'm wondering- ignition? Theft system? Computer/ECU? I'm so confused on why all three things happened at once, overnight. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks again and any welcomes are appreciated. I miss my 94 hatch... I'd fix it overnight with a 10/12mm socket... case of beer.. and two buddies.. lol.

The problem is electrical. Don't know where exactly, but hope that helps point in the right direction.
Fits use Electric Power Steering (EPS), and electrics to shift gears.

EPS is out but trans shifts fine. Car drives normal aside from listed issues. I just can't see why they go at once. Oh well...
