After a lot of googling and research, it seems like the 2014 Fit almost...doesn't exist? I know that the EV fit was produced for 2014, but was that it? I'm sure that Honda produced a regular 4 cylinder Fit for the 2014 model year, but whenever I try to research it I just find info on the 2013 or 2015. Why is this? Did the 2014 model year sell horribly or something? Also, an interesting thing that I noticed, especially on the categories for these forums, is that the 2nd generation is 2008-2013, and then 3rd gen is 2015? On the two Youtube videos I found of a regular gasoline 2014 fit, it seemed almost identical to a 2013 Fit. Does the 2014 fall into some gray area or something? If I walked into a Honda dealership in 2013 and wanted to buy a brand new Fit, what would they even show me? It's just so weird to me that there is nearly no info on 2014s. When I go on Cars.com, Autotrader, Carfax, and Carmax, the 2014 model year isn't even there to select if I want to filter my results. There must be an explanation for this.

 

If memory serves me correctly there was no 2014 Honda Fit offered, (except for the unpopular EV electric version). 2014 was the transition year from the Gen 2 models to the Gen 3 models.

 

Other than the Fit EV there was no 2014 Fit.

The 2013 year went a little long & the 2015 was introduced a little early.

 

In Canada we had a 2014 M/Y Fit. Same as the 09-13 model.

When buying parts, I always buy parts for the 2013 as otherwise I get the Fit EV parts which don't fit my car!

 

Technically the '15 was introduced early, but as I recall, there were none to be found until winter '15. Similar to trying to find a Fit now.

 

i think wat happened was GK was supposed to be released as a 14 model but honda mexico and its local suppliers faked up so many times delaying their launch ended up calling the GK a 2015 model.

 

It is really only avail in Canada. I just bought one. LX 5MT. I do what Frenzal said... when looking up info/parts just go with the 2013.

 

I couldn't find any mention of the 2014 Fit being sold in the USA. It isn't listed in any reviews or anywhere else. But there were plenty of 2014 Honda Fits sold here in Canada! I bought the 2014 Honda Fit LX.

I have all servicing done at Pacific Honda in North Vancouver, where I purchased my 2014 Honda Fit LX new.

It hasn't needed any repairs yet.

Great little car, although I would have preferred to buy the 2015 model because the front passenger seat can be folded down flat when the headrest is removed. However, I needed a new car immediately.

 

The 2014 Honda Fit was for sale in Canada, but not in the USA. I looked into it.
