Hahahaha thanks guys! My b-day was last night! A bunch of us went to Symons Valley ranch for the All-U-Can-Eat Beef rib night... I did us proud by throwing down 10 Beef ribs! 9 shooters and 3 beers! And I still made it into work this morning at 7:30am!

I did get the Mugen SS last night! My buddies got me a new Momo shift knob which is pretty cool and my gf also picked me up a Thule T2 bike rack for the Fit.. pretty sweet loot this year!

I'm gonna install the SS tonight along with the Megan header that came in last week too..

hey Illusive... Any update on those eyelids? Approx. cost after paint?

lol, that is awesome. Nice rack, you are going to enjoy that! Congrats,

Here is some Symptoms of the 30+ crowd

1. You leave clubs before the end to "beat the rush". (Worse still you don't go to the clubs)

2. You get more excited about having a roast on a Sunday than going clubbing the night before.

3. You stop dreaming of becoming a professional footballer / basketball player and start dreaming of having a son who might instead.

4. Before throwing the local paper away, you look through the property section.

5. All of a sudden, middle aged people are not 45, they are only 45.

6. Before going out anywhere, you ask whether there is anywhere to park.

7. Rather than throw a knackered pair of trainers out, you keep them because they'll be all right for the DIY or in the garden.

8. You buy T-shirts without anything written on them.

9. Instead of laughing at the innovations catalogue that falls out of the newspaper ,you suddenly see both the benefit and money saving properties of most of the things that are in it.

10. You start to worry about your parents' health.

11. You have more disposable income, but everything you want or need to buy costs between 200 and 500 quid.

12. You don't get funny looks when you buy a Disneyvideo or a Wallace And Gromit bubble bath, as the sales assistant assumes they are for your children.

13. Pop music all starts to sound the same.

14. You opt for Pizza Express over Pizza Hut because they do a really nice half-bottle of house red.

15. You always have enough milk in.

16. To compensate for the fact that you have little desire to go clubbing, you instead frequent trendy bars and restaurants in the mistaken belief that you have not turned into your parents.

17. While flicking through the TV channels, you happen upon C4's Time Team with Tony Robinson. You get drawn in. Grand Designs also appeals.

18. The benefits of a pension scheme become clear.

19. You go out of your way to pick up a colour chart from B&Q.

20. You wish you had a shed.

21. You have a shed.

22. You actually find yourself saying "They don't make 'em like that anymore" and "I remember when there were only 4 TV channels" and "Not in my day...."

23. Radio 2 play more songs you know than Radio 1 - and Jeremy Vine has some really interesting guests on.

24. Instead of tutting at old people who take ages to get off the bus, You tut at rowdy school children.

25. When sitting outside a pub you admire their hanging baskets.

26. You find yourself saying "is it cold in here or is it just me "

27. Bad hangover's seem to last 2 days.

Eyelids are ready, but I can't pick up till Friday as they close at 6 and I won't be able to get there in time. Price, not sure yet, should be pretty cheap

Sweet! Thanks a bunch for doing all the leg work for us!

I got the Mugen SS installed last night.. took me about 25 minutes! It was a snap!

I also installed a Megan racing header too.. that was a pain in the a$$ to install.. there's so little room to work with behind the motor.. I ended up getting it in, but it took over an hour to complete the job.

First impressions?

the Mugen is nice.. nice sharp short throws and feels solid.. I replaced my stock shift knob with a Momo one I got from my friends for my bday. It'll take time to get used to, but I can tell my shift are gonna be fast like ninja! haha

The Megan header? The fit was good.. no leaks.. I can noticed a bit of an increase in mid-high rpms.. it definitely feels like it has a bit more push to it when I give'r a spoon full of gas pedal!!

Hey YeeFit,

Do you have a hitch on your car for that rack or is there another way to mount it?

I do have a hitch. I bought the Hidden Hitch 1-1/4" from a place called Folding Utility Trailers, Trailer Kits, Parts and Accessories - RedTrailers.com

It was super easy to install.. and it cost me $115cdn after shipping.. just make sure to ask them to ship it out of their Ontario warehouse to avoid duties and brokerage fees.

I have the Thule T2 917 bike rack.. used it for the first time last night and its super solid! My shop lent me this Sportrack one last weekend since the Thule hadn't come in yet and it was crap compared to it.. but then again the Thule is $599 retail and the Sportrack one is $199 retail..

I guess you get what you pay for!

Well ended up with a lot of extra bike parts... distroyed the rack and put a giant dent in my roof. *sigh* I had to rebuilt my older bike with usable parts I could salvage and ride that until I could afford a new one.

After that little incident I don't put bikes on my roof anymore! In the past the stupid trunk style ones always end up scratching my car too much. I was able to mount one on the brush bumper with my jeep But I don't have that choice anymore with the Fit. I have been eyeing the hitch ones ever since.
